2008 Gold Cup Scheduled in the City of Industry.
The CPFHA is proud to announce that arrangements have been made to
hold the 2008 Gold Cup at the Industry Hills Expo Center in the City
of Industry on Oct 31 - Nov 2. More details will follow as soon as they are
available.
CPFHA Establishes Vendor Booths For This Year's Gold Cup
VENDOR BOOTHS will be available at the Gold Cup for those wishing to
display products, services of ranches. A 10 x 10 space is only $250
and pop-ups can be rented.

CPFHA Show Committee Selects Industry Hills Expo Center for 2008
Gold Cup
The CPFHA Show Committee recently went to the Industry Hills Expo
Center to preview the potential for the 2008 Gold Cup. After touring
the facilities, the committee voted to make this location the next

Benefits In The Economic Stimulus Act For Horse Industry

While most consumers are starting to receive their Economic Stimulus
Act checks, there are lesser known benefits to horse owners. As
outlined by the American Horse Council, a lobbying organization
based in Washington D.C., the Economic Stimulus Act, signed into law
by President Bush on February 13, also provides tax incentives that
would allow a much bigger write-off for horses and other depreciable
property purchased and placed into service during 2008.

New Class Added to Santa Barbara Show!
We have added a Costume Class at the Santa Barbara Show.
It is Class 118.5 and will be during the Saturday Matinee on July 5,
2008 after the Youth Equitation (17 & under).

7 Paso Finos abandoned at a local ranch are in need of foster homes
and/or adopters.

Paso Fino is the cover horse on the National Stallions Calendar for
2008
 Each
year, Rancho Fino invites the top national equine photographers to
the ranch, where stallions are released “at liberty” in large green
pastures, giving the photographers the opportunity to shoot
unlimited photos and generate pictures they can then sell.
